Linux System Administration Skills Level III

Advanced skills for the experienced Linux Administrator

This course is for students, who have completed Linux System Administration Skills Level 1 & 2, OR is designed for experienced Linux administrators who require networking and security administration skills. With a heavy emphasis on practical, hands-on labs, focus is placed on enhancing automation skills to securely configure, deploy, and manage network services including DNS, Apache, SMTP, and network file sharing. In addition, this course emphasizes security, including monitoring, packet filtering, access controls, and SELinux.

At the completion of this course, students already familiar with the Red Hat Certified Technician (RHCT)/Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) administration skills will have exposure to all competencies tested by the RHCSA and Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) exams.

What is a Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE)?

An RHCE certification is earned by an RHCSA who has demonstrated the knowledge, skill, and ability required of senior system administrators for Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems.

Course outline

At the end of the training program we will prepare you in such a way that apart from getting ready for the RHCSA and RHCE exam you can also get ready to do NCLA, Linux+, LPI certifications.

Participants who are looking forward for interviews will get oriented on the interview preparedness. We will have 2 sessions on introducing you to other flavors of Linux like UBUNTU and SuSE.
